I started this almanac as a means to share with you throughout the year everything regarding the vine2wine life cycle, the food we eat, the events and places we visit, what we recommend and the people we love.

I’m a vineyard wife, mother of men and a graphic designer. I believe in continual learning, meaningful work and living my values, everyday. I believe I give my clients the best design fitting their intent and goals by using my best visual heirarchy, color, and typographic sensibilities, every time. I believe in my husband’s vision in creating something that is lasting, that gives to others, that helps provide for our family and preserves the agricultural history of his family’s farm. I work hard to raise local Southern Maryland’s business’ boat one status update, tweet, and web/traditional media design at a time.

This blogzine is a follow-up to our initial blog, Proof of Concept, where I chronicled the first 4 years of our start-up vineyard and my introduction to the vineyard life. I invite you to visit the old blog and read about our proofing acre, the planting of our first commercial acre and the planting of our second two acres by friends and family. Its a great history and will give you an idea of what we are all about.
